The most popular color that the New Balance 991 comes in is gray. This is the first color that the 991 was released in. It pretty much goes with anything because gray is a neutral tone. You can wear it with anything else that’s gray or anything blue and it will still look pretty nice. Grey is a pretty easy to color to match, that’s why I believe New Balance chose it as the first color to produce the 991′s in.

Another color New Balance 991′s come in is blue. Blue is another color that can basically go along with everything. This is one of the main reasons blue jeans are so hugely popular. Blue shoes go with blue jeans. It’s definitely not a coincidence that New Balance chose this color to add to the variety of 991 you can buy.

One other color that is hugely popular is black. If your noticing a trend here you would be right. Darker tones match more types of clothes than crazy colors. Black, like blue goes with most other colors. New Balance does make other shoes that have lots of colors but these shoes are more specialized and probably don’t sell quite as well as the others do.

New Balance also makes other versions of the 991 for women that come in other colors as well. There are white versions of the 991, along with versions that are white with blue accents. They make other colors for the womens version of the 991 but these are some of the most popular.

So are the colors of the New Balance 991 important? To some people they are. That’s the exact reason that New Balance made the shoe in so many colors. Just to give people more variety and options in their shoe purchases. This is why New Balance is such a great company and why the New Balance 991 is a such a great shoe to own.
