People often ask us, what we feel are the best small coffee makers currently being sold.  Coffee is very important for many people, and they want to make sure they get the best cup they can. The Technivorm company is a Dutch company that began producing coffee machines in 1962. This company has been certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America, an association that highlights great coffee. The reason for this particular coffee maker’s success is that it brews coffee within a very specific temperature range of 195 to 205 degrees.  This is the perfect temperature range for brewing coffee and extracting the full flavor from ground coffee beans. Coffee that is brewed with water that is either hotter or cooler than this produces less tasty coffee.

While Technivorm make quite a few different coffee machines, their most popular is the Moccamaster CDT. This machine usually sells for around $265, and can be bought from various sites online including Amazon. If you love a good cup of coffee, you would most likely be prepared to pay that much. The Moccamaster is very well made. The only switch you will find on the machine is its on and off button. Once your coffee is brewed, a thermal carafe will help keep your coffee warm without it getting bitter from overheating.

For coffee lovers, the Technivorm Moccamaster is simply the only coffee pot worth owning. Although some may consider it expensive (compared to the Tassimo coffee brewer), it is so well made that it will last many years providing you take good care of it. If you are in the market for a coffee machine, and you are interested in one that will last and perform well, you should check this machine out.
